Fashion of the flappers

The fashion for flappers was very shocking for some people. It involved short bob cut hair, shorter shapless dresses, flat chest, a lot of makeup, and showing limbs.

The dresses were calf length, right below the knee. Women wanted the manish look, so the dropped the waist line to make their hips look like they had less curve. A girls curves were flattened out completely as was desired. A flat chest was also something all flappers wanted, to get this some had to bandage their chest down. A flapper wore a lot of makeup, and applied it in public.
